Our primary speciality is the security of computer systems, therefore we are engaged in the development of several systems that help in the defense of computer systems and networks, and the creation and maintenance of their high security level. The licence of the particular system can be viewed on the site of the given tool, or in the program installer itself. Since we find the spread of free software important, we support the development of several free software applications either with our work or financially.

Security systems

The primary element of our development is security. At the moment we are continuously developing our application level firewall system, ALF. The ALF system is very versatile, it is equally capable of serving small networks and the security demands of large corporate, multiply firewalled complex systems. The new generation of the firewall will be available soon on our site under the GPL licence. We are developing several systems which are connected to network or local security in some way. Among our several developments, it is worth emphasizing the general authentication server, which supports the most modern authentication methods currently available, and can be easily integrated into the perimeter defence based on ALF firewalls. The TCB system was created to operate a large number of remote Unix systems, but it also enables control of the integrity of the system. Besides the defense modules integrated into the ALF system, in case of necessity we undertake the preparation of individual solutions, a great example of this is an individual timestamp server defense solution developed for a Hungarian certificate provider. For the audit of the systems we take advantage of the advanced audit software developed by us, which makes the work of our auditors substantially more convenient.

Other systems

Since we are operating a large number of systems with a few engineers compared to the number of servers, it was necessary to develop supplementary solutions as well, which enable the effective management and configuration of the large number of remote - relatively homogeneous - systems. The TCB system was designed primarily with this aim, which has improved considerably from the beginnings (from the end of 1999) in order to accommodate the demand. The TCB system is used by several large companies for mass server operations. It is also worth mentioning the internet cafe management system, which makes the work of several internet cafes not only convenient but also securely manageable. If any kind of special demand occurs, we try to solve that too. Besides these, we have also created a dhcp and name server management system and several smaller complementary applications.

Free software systems

The employees of our company are committed devotees of the free software, so they participate in several independent free software development projects. Among this, it is worth emphasizing gnokii, a piece of software that enables the management of Nokia mobile phones, to the development of which our leading developer (being originally an electrical engineer) contributed considerably. The improvement of the localisation interface of the well known OpenOffice.org office program is due to the excellent work of several of our employees.
